Chicago Cubs Tickets

The Chicago Cubs are a team of Major League Baseball in Chicago, Illinois. The Tribune Company owns the team while the team led by Lou Piniella. Is team president John McDonough and Jim Hendry is the CEO. The Cubs have the honor of one of two major league teams based in Chicago. Chicago White Sox in the American League is the other team. The two clubs have reached the status of the Charter members of their respective championships.

Cincinnati Red Stockings of 1869 is baseball first openly all professional team. The success and reputation of this team resulted in a minor explosion of openly professional teams in 1870. Each team had one goal to defeat the Red Stockings. Some variations on the name and color. Chicago White as their primary color. After a summer of contests held individually between the various teams, the National Society was founded in 1871. It was the first professional league.

Chicago acquired several key players after the 1875 season. These include pitcher Albert Spalding of the Boston Red Stockings, and first baseman Adrian "Cap" Anson of the Philadelphia Athletics. Simultaneously, the club president William Hulbert, secretly engaged in guiding the formation of a new and stronger organization, the National League.

In 2003, the Cubs managed to win the first division title in 14 years. NLDS victory over the Atlanta Braves have a history. Theissen playoff team since 1908.
